Message from the ACENTOS FOUNDATION

AWP 2008 New York galvanized the Acentos Foundation in its goal of publishing a quarterly arts review.  It was in that venue that board members came together over the need to promote community through a forum that called artists and writers together in the representation of the various spaces in which Latino and Latina art is created.  The Acentos Review endeavors to be as welcoming and challenging a community as the Acentos Bronx Poetry Showcase has been in New York for the past five years.  We invite the multiplicity and multidimensionality of work by and about the Latin@ community.
